Saddleworth Pupils Appear on Newsround

Year 8 pupils Libby Collard and Emily Brierley were invited to appear on BBC Newsround and interview Nick Gibbs MP at the Department of Education in London. Libby and Emily have worked extensively on anti-bullying in school; leading assemblies; attending a hate crime conference; and put together a news report for the Newsround website. Their report was read by the Newsround team and they were so impressed they were invited onto the show to meet Nick Gibbs MP in person and share their opinions on the issue of bullying. The episode featuring Libby and Emily was broadcast on Thursday 20th November.
