Year 7 Cricket Trip To Headingley

The Year 7 cricket team enjoyed a day of coaching at Headingley cricket ground courtesy of the White Rose Society. 17 boys faced the bowling machine and received expert tuition on how to improve their batting prior to a well earned lunch in the canteen facility. In the afternoon the Yorkshire Foundation gave the lads a guided tour of the historical Headingley ground. The day was rounded off with an educational trip around the cricket museum with the boys taking part in a fun quiz to test their new found knowledge of the famous Yorkshire cricket teams of past and present.
