 At Saddleworth we want to provide so much more than just a great academic education. As well as offering a numerous extra-curricular activities run by staff, from September we are offering a prospectus of out of school learning opportunities that children can access on Wednesday afternoons. These sessions will be led by community based groups and should help pupils to develop further as independent people who take responsibility for their lives and learning. If you, or anyone you know, would like to be involved in our Wednesday afternoon programme and/or are able to offer an activity then please get in touch with Mr Davies by email ([email protected]). We are also looking for volunteers to supervise various in-school clubs running on the Wednesday afternoons. If you wish to take part, please don't hesitate to get in touch.  There will be a range of activities available on Wednesday afternoons that fall into four main categories; arts and music; helping others; new skills; and sports. Some of these will be provided by school, many through outside agencies. It is up to you to arrange your own activities. The table below shows all the activities available to you, use the filter tabs at the top to show all the activities in each category. Activities that are due to be launched are shown in grey.
